areas of the application." DOMINION version 3.2 now has a web interface
(Dominion Web) that allows Dominion to be used over the Internet
and the corporate Intranet. The web interface uses standard HTML
pages to provide the interface between the Dominion system and
Win-CGI compliant web server (including Microsoft IIS, Netscape,
O'Reilly and others). With Dominion Web, companies can offer
technical support online, provide call logging, tracking, and
problem resolution tools, enable people to submit work requests,
change management change requests, inventory and asset tracking
requests, and even track time using a visual timecard tracking
module. You can even page people using the Dominion Pager gateway
module. DOMINION 3.2 also includes many new
performance enhancements (including memory file caching, improved
WAN and RAS support), customer requested enhancements (multi-file
mail merge, internet mail support and call logging), and user
interface enhancements (tabbed panels/dialogs, better status bar
feedback, tear-off toolbars, multi-column combo-boxes). As for
specific module improvements, Dominion's Problem tracking system
is faster, provides more seamless escalation and email
automation, and time card interface. The Change management module
includes the interested party wizard, to keep people informed of
changes and progress, and time card integration. The Project,
Task, and time card systems have improved performance and
functionality all around, including better graph support.
Finally, the award winning Quick Chart system can now create HTML
chartbooks on the fly to keep everyone in the enterprise informed
