First Help Desk package optimized for Windows95!

August 24, 1995 - InterApps, Inc. of Hermosa Beach, CA, today announced the immediate availability of Dominion95 Office, their Help Desk, Customer Service, and Business Information software. Dominion95 is the first Help Desk package optimized for Windows95. The announcement was made today from InterApps, Inc. headquarters in Hermosa Beach, CA.

"Dominion95 is fully compatible with Windows95 and Office95", said Mark Hripko, V.P. Product Development at InterApps. "Dominion95 takes advantage of the new features of Windows95, such as the Exchange Inbox client, the Scheduling Agent, Personal Profiles, and the Briefcase."

Dominion95 can also work in both MDI (multiple window) and SDI (single window) modes, and thus conforms to the new recommendations in the Window95 user interface guide.

Other new features in Dominion95 include Email support for Banyan Vines, MHS Mail, MAPI and VIM support. Integrated Paging support now includes support for SkyTel Pagers, Bell Mobility (Canada) pagers, and support for Ex Machina's Notify Wireless messaging products. The program now includes Tool Tips, user definable MenuBars and IconBars, and performance monitoring utilities designed to maximize throughput. A new Cross-tabulation report function has been added, as well as a QuickChart utility which allows people to create multiple virtual chartbooks. Finally, the program has been enhanced and now supports macro programming in Basic, GWBasic, QuickBasic, and the new VBA programming languages. Dominion95 even allows you to mix programming styles within the same macro or code section. Dominion95 can interpret all 4 styles simultaneously!

Also, because our underlying database engine is the Superbase95 DBMS system, our applications run very well on low memory and low resource machines. Dominion95 only requires a 386 with 4MB of RAM for good performance. If you can run Windows95, you most likely have a faster processor and additonal RAM which in turn makes Dominion95 run faster and more efficiently!"
