Dominion SOS comes with a basic "suite" or "set" or modules that comprise the application. In addition, these and other modules can also be purchased separately, or in custom configurations. The Dominion SOS configuration provides the greatest value, power, and potential as it is a carefully selected set of tools to improve your business. DOMINION SOS Included Modules Problems - works with the Phonebook and other applications to speed data entry and can also load category specific forms so that the information input is more relevant to a particular type of problem. At any time you can immediately show the last 5 similar problems that have recently been resolved, based on criteria you specify. Inventory - Used to track components, products, hardware, software and more. Inventory is integrated with Problems and Finances. You can log problem tickets against Inventory in your network, and track the financial information related to each component. Images of the inventory are easily accessible, as well as both vendor supplied and user written component information. Inventory allows you to define the relationships and connections of particular components to automatically update information on related items. Changes - Used to help assess, track and review changes to your production environment. From initial request through implementation , changes can be documented with their impact on your configuration, facilitating the change approval process. Changes is integrated with Problems enabling it to analyze if customer reported problems are related to recent configuration changes. Query and Reporting - A simple program allows you to access your data in a virtually limitless way. Standard reports are provided, or you can build your own using the ad-hoc query facilities. All results can be reviewed on-line, saved as a file, faxed or printed. QuickNote - An electronic version of Sticky or Post-It notes. As a personal information manager, QuickNote can help you set reminders for meetings, follow up on your calls or create 'to-do' lists. Finances - This is where information can be maintained about the costs of inventory, equipment, leasing, contracts, payments, and vendor information. Also included is a Billing module based on the Problems application which allows you to interface with or produce charge-back information. Phonebook - This application maintains people, places, faces, addresses, images and other information about the people you work with or provide support to throughout the day. It has built in autodial, mail merge, label generation and call history for recording and reviewing note about phone conversations. Timecard - Use the time card system to track your time spent during the day. The program works like an electronic version of a paper time card. As you complete tasks and log hours, the system tracks and maintains the timecard. Track time by person, group, task type, and more! With DDE you can even link Dominion SOS applications and data to other programs in your business such as a speadsheet or charting program (e.g. Excel and Harvard Graphics for Windows)

includes DDE and DLL call to other applications. The maximum number of records it can hold
is one billion per table. The database supports images, sounds, and binary file
attachments as well as automated paging systems and full motion video. Automatic input
validation, user-definable screen formats, trouble ticket history log, and integration
with standard e-mail systems is included. User Interface The user interfaces include MS Windows, customizable fonts, screen layouts, and
reports. every element of the user interface can be modified by the administrator. Solution Management Capabilities Incoming calls are managed as Trouble Tickets integrated with Phone Book and Problem
classification to find and show similar problems and their resolution. during problem
logging process, you can search for "similar" past problems to see how they have
been resolved. Dominion SOS uses a simple form of case-based reasoning. Additionally,
InterApps sells an advanced case-based reasoning tool name Knowledge Database Viewer.
InterApps also provides add-on connectors so you can view data created in other
knowledge database management systems (like KnowledgeBroker, Inc's Ask.Me products). Report Generation Capability Dominion SOS includes the QuickReport system, which is the easiest and fastest way to create column oriented reports. In addition to columns, the QuickReport system handles Crosstabulation reports with ease. In addition, Dominion SOS includes QuickCharts, an innovative and quick chart book building program can automatically build chartbooks to summarize all of your critical information. To round out the tool selection, Domion SOS provides the Custom Report builder, so sophisticated reports can be created. Dominion SOS includes a well thought out selection of reports that you can immediately
